Online coaching is a genuine solution for some profiles: people who travel frequently, go on extended assignments, or don't have a coach nearby. It's also a strong format for those who already have experience and solid movement fundamentals.
In-person coaching, however, offers a level of attention and interaction that remote coaching cannot fully replicate.
Nothing replaces the eye of a coach at your side. I teach you correct movement execution and correct technical errors quickly — before they become hard-to-break habits, or worse, lead to injury.
Every body is different. I assess your mobility, proportions, natural range of motion and movement patterns to build a program genuinely adapted to your morphology — not to an average profile.
When the effort gets hard, I'm there to help you maintain your commitment and give your best.
During the session, every question you have gets an immediate answer.
I can adapt a session on the spot based on how you're feeling that day, run a fitness assessment, or accompany you during a competition — situations that remote coaching generally can't offer.

You settle into your new habits, acquire the fundamentals and start putting them into practice on your own. First progress and results begin to show.
You now manage your daily life with the right habits: regular physical activity, nutrition, healthy lifestyle. We review your progress together. If you need a little more time to consolidate your foundations, an additional month is available — so you're never left without support and don't have to restart a full program.

My name is Ronan, holistic coach based in Tokyo.
Sport has always been part of my life — not out of obligation, but out of passion and deep conviction. Early on, I understood that taking care of my health through physical activity, nutrition and lifestyle wasn't optional. It was a lifelong investment.
My path hasn't been a straight line. Trained as a gendarme, a service injury forced me to reinvent myself. I traveled, found my way, and ended up in Tokyo. It was here that it clicked: turn my passion into a reality. In 2019, I earned my personal trainer diploma in Montreal.
The road to launching Forgeway hasn't been simple. First, Covid in early 2020, personal trials, a full family life — then a stroke, from which it took me four years to fully recover. I genuinely started from scratch. It was long and hard, and I went through many phases — but today, at 39, I've climbed back up and I'm back at my best. This journey has taught me an enormous amount about myself, and about the struggles anyone can face.
Beyond my coaching skills, I've developed a deep capacity for understanding people. I don't judge — I analyze, and I do my best to help each person reach their goals, knowing full well that the path is never without setbacks. And when that happens, you can count on me to help you get back up.
I intend to put all of this to work for you. Losing weight, building muscle, getting back in shape, reaching a sports goal — it may seem small to some, but for others, it can literally change their life. And I believe that deeply.

Our first meeting is free and with no commitment. We get to know each other, I understand your goals and your situation, and you leave with a clear picture of what we could do together. At the end of that meeting, you're completely free to decide whether you want to move forward.
Because it's the minimum time needed to build real habits, get results, and start forging your autonomy. Session-by-session or month-to-month offers encourage inconsistency and compromise results. I'd rather be honest about that than sell you something that doesn't work.
That's precisely the goal: to give you solid foundations for your daily life. By the end of the program, you know how to train correctly, eat intelligently and take care of your lifestyle — without anyone holding your hand.
If you need a little more time to consolidate what you've learned, an additional month (¥66,000) is available — rather than restarting a full program. And if you'd simply like to keep a connection, a maintenance formula at ¥16,000/month is there for that. Both are entirely optional.
Sessions are in-person — that's where coaching makes its full impact. I see how you move, I correct immediately, I adapt every session to how you're feeling that day. I work around your schedule: gym, home, outdoors.

Yes, all levels are welcome — complete beginners, intermediate, advanced, and more complex cases with physical limitations or injury histories. The program is built specifically for you, not from a standard template.
Forgeway is designed precisely for people with demanding schedules. The goal isn't to have you spend hours in the gym — it's to build an efficient program adapted to your reality. Quality over quantity.
The goal isn't to turn you into a bodybuilder — unless that's what you want. My role is to work toward YOUR goals: fat loss, getting back in shape, controlled muscle gain, athletic performance. The program is built around what you want to achieve.
I recommend consulting your doctor beforehand. My initial health questionnaire covers your medical history and physical condition in detail. If needed, I can refer you to trusted healthcare professionals — physiotherapist, osteopath, psychologist.
No specific equipment is required. I adapt to what you have — gym, home, or outdoors. The program is designed to work in your real environment. If needed or if you wish, I can also advise you on equipment.
French or English, your choice. You're coached in the language you think and feel in — a real advantage in Tokyo.
I'll tell you honestly, during the very first consultation. There's no commercial pressure on my end. If your situation calls for a different type of support, I'll point you toward the right person.
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are clearly defined in the contract, which you receive before committing to anything. In short: giving advance notice is always possible. The goal is to protect your progress, not to penalize you.
I work throughout Tokyo and surrounding areas. Whether you're in the center or the outskirts, we'll find an arrangement — gym, home, outdoors. During the first consultation, we'll define together the format that works best for you.
